Deep Fried Soybean Meat Recipe with Kudzu Starch

  • 10 soybean meat
  • 2 eggplant
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • Lemon 
  • Dashi soup
  • Soy Sauce
  • Kudzu powder
  • Frying oil


  1. Rehydrate the soybean meat with hot water, simmer it in soup stock and hot water, add potato starch and deep fry it in hot oil.
  2. Sprinkle a little salt on eggplant and carrots, cover with kudzu powder, and fry in oil.
  3. Serve in a bowl with lemon.

Pro Tips:

  • Try using 1 cup of soup stock : 1.5-2 tablespoons of soy sauce as a guide.
